I believe it to be Microsoft as they have octopus arms among this group. They are into many areas of software business which will always have room for development. So it will be Microsoft who is going to top the list.

Not sure that MS has the edge now as they had over 5 to 10 years back. They have been telling that they are going to come out with something big in the recent times. But none has been done so far. At the same time Apple is closing in and being very creative and rapidly growing in the market, even they have been eating into Nokia’s market share. I think it would be Apple and only Apple.

My 2c worth – companies that thrive long term are those that make unsexy products that are immune to consumer & user fads. The nearest to that in your list is Oracle. When people praise Apple, they should also remember those fallen giants – Sony, Toshiba (Gods of d laptop world), Nokia (in 2008 beginning, the epitome consumer driven design), Sharp (who started the LCD TV revolution with their Aquos brand)…

Education Industry for definite.
Political Industry.
20-30 years is a long time in the life of any tech company. Every 12 – 20 years there are revolutionary inventions that change the tech ball game for ever and then again after another 12 – 20 years go without much change… The law of cycles say that it would be in vain shall one predict of companies in decades to come…. But I have chosen google because , google looks like a “fully rounded” company with all angles covered for changes and challenges….
